Responsability
At Calcher Group we continually strive to achieve innovative processes in order to promote a healthier and more sustainable environment, continuously reducing our environmental impact.
For this reason we assume a real commitment to the Environment, promoting recycling through our waste management, using raw materials from sustainable forests, recycling metal waste, minimizing the packaging of our products, using systems in our plants and offices. energy saving lighting.
Circular Economy
This is a production and consumption model that involves sharing, renting, reusing, repairing, renewing and recycling existing materials and products as many times as possible, giving them added value, thus lengthening the life cycle of the products.
We reduce waste to a minimum. When a product reaches the end of its life, its materials are kept within the economy whenever possible. These can be productively used over and over again, extending their useful life and consequently generating less waste, as opposed to the traditional “throwaway” model, which uses large amounts of raw materials.
New Materials
Calcher maintains a permanent commitment in the search for new materials, venturing into recycled products from marine waste, thus reintroducing that material into the economy.
Among our products we also use “Plastic wood” from 100% recycled and recyclable plastic.
This raw material is NON-RECYCLABLE (or reject) plastic destined for incineration or burial in landfills or landfills.
In this way, the material is given a new use, extending its useful life for a long time. It is a highly resistant and durable product suitable for indoors and outdoors.
Fabrics Used
Calcher is constantly updated to existing regulations and guarantees that its products comply with established regulations.
The company is committed to promoting responsible production, handling and use of supplied products.
The fabrics used have a long life cycle, thus reducing the need to replace them. However, when necessary, there are conversion opportunities to other useful products. The long useful life of fabrics reduces the use of natural resources in production.
Energy
We work with a 100% renewable green energy sources that have been certified by the CNMC, contributing to energy efficiency, to saving and to reducing the negative impact on the environment caused by other energies in the generation of electricity.
We are constantly developing with a more responsible, sustainable and fair energy model.
In Calcher we also implement simple measures on the daily such as smart lighting systems, circuit breakers and controls, in order to take the energy saving even further.
Carbon Footprint
60% of climate change is due to CO2 emissions, if we want to reduce our impact, it is essential to obtain objective and quantitative data on the impact as a company and of our products and activities.
The carbon footprint quantifies the amount and origin of greenhouse gas emissions. It allows us to take efficient measures to reduce the impact of climate change and create new opportunities for saving and energy efficiency in processes and throughout the entire production chain.
This process can give consumers more durable and innovative products that provide cost savings and a higher quality of life.
